Plantar Fasciosis

Commonly called plantar fasciitis. Pain in the heel of the foot is often misdiagnosed and undertreated.

Symptoms of foot pain often involve:

  • Pain in the heel and arch of the foot

  • Difficulty with the first few steps in the morning or after sitting for a while

  • Tension in the calves

  • Pain with barefoot walking

  • Pain with standing or walking for long periods of time

  • Limitations in walking and lifting as needed for life or work tasks

Physical therapy can help to dive deeper into the cause of your foot pain and treat the joints a muscles. This often involves a broader perspective. Your feet oftentimes require support from the hips and spine!
