Bladder Pain
Pain over the bladder region is often associated with symptoms such as:
Lower abdominal pain
Pain with emptying the bladder
Burning with urination
Feeling like the bladder is not emptying
Urinary Urgency: Feeling the need to rush to the bathroom
Urinary Frequency: Going to the bathroom too often
Chronic UTIs - sometimes without positive bacterial cultures
Oftentimes this is due to bladder habits, poor water intake, and poor diet. A common diagnosis is interstitial cystitis.
Physical therapy is able to address this with skilled education, manual therapy, and muscular downtraining.
