Gross Motor Delay
Gross motor delay refers to an infant who is not meeting their standard milestones. Motor milestones are always on a spectrum and do have ranges of what is normal verse not normal. Please ask your pediatrician if you are concerned about your child’s milestones. They may recommend physical therapy.
Physical therapy for gross motor delay focuses on improving a child’s muscular strength and motor planning to allow for improved progress with normal motor skill goals.
Exercises will be provided for parents to begin after each visit to allow for independent progress.
Special note: All pediatric sessions must have a parent or guardian present.
