Neural manipulation and visceral manipulation in combination with DNS exercises are an excellent way to optimize your child’s palate expansion, airway, and to improve the functionality of the tongue (even with an intact tie).
Over time neural manipulation can positively affect the facial and cranial structure of your child. The goal is to open more room in the palate for the tongue to rest, improve nasal breathing, and improve tongue mobility.
This has to be a whole body focus! Not just the cranium, but looking at the entirety of the body for restrictions that contribute to the fascial tension around the face and mouth.
The short clip here is my son after 1 year of regular (about 10 sessions) of neural and visceral manipulation. See the changes to the symmetry of the face, the jaw position, and the improved nasal breathing? This work has helped my child sleep and regulate his emotions better!
