EDS and HSD are defined as a spectrum of disorders that involve overly flexible joints and looser than normal connective tissue.

As someone who is personally on the hypermobility spectrum, I have experienced first hand the effects of my disorder and the benefits of understanding how to treat (and NOT treat) my body.

People with EDS/HSD require manual therapy, education, and strength training that is specialized to consider joint protection, organ laxity, fatigue levels, and connective tissue laxity.

My hope is to continue to serve clients with EDS/HSD by helping them understand their diagnosis, pointing them to the right practitioners for additional support, and giving them resources for independent management of their symptoms.

It is very possible to have a fulfilling life with connective tissue laxity. As with all things in life, you need to balance the practices of resiliency and mindfulness to improve your personal wellness!
